The Watervliet Housing Authority offers two types of housing - Public Housing and Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers.

Multi Family Housing Program

The Watervliet Housing Authority consists of 5 Multi-Family housing complexes. Michael J. Day, Abram Hilton, and Edwin Joslin are family complexes. Daniel P. Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program

Section 8 is a federal program that provides rental assistance to low-income families in the private rental market through the Housing Assistance Payments Program. This program is a win-win for both landlords and the tenants.
